Looking back through my performance archives always reminds me of the defining moments that opened new doors in my musical life. One of those unforgettable highlights took place on January 31, 2016, at the Magnificat Piano Competition.
For this performance, I chose to play Gaziza Zhubanova’s Three Preludes a complex and deeply expressive set of pieces that challenged me to explore new creative limits on the keys.
The competition was incredibly fierce, and with only one grand prize winner chosen, I was absolutely thrilled and honored to take home first place. Winning this competition was a pivotal milestone for me, as it directly earned me the incredible opportunity to travel and perform internationally on stages in Milano and Lugano.
