I am incredibly proud to announce the official release of Eight Frames, my solo piano album published by the distinguished classical label Austrian Gramophone and composed entirely by the brilliant Bishara Khell.
Eight Frames consists of eight distinct piano pieces that capture fleeting thoughts like images passing through a moving window transforming them into sound and narrative. Each piece stands as its own independent “frame,” exploring themes of myth and illusion, humor and reflection, fragility and strength. Together, the music searches for a pure, deeply human sound, embracing beauty within imperfection.
Recording this album was an intensely personal experience that allowed me to dive into both the emotional depth and the technical power of Khell’s exceptional writing. This album is the beautiful culmination of a profound, and dedicated journey with Bishara. Working closely together allowed us to bridge his brilliant architectural storytelling with a shared dedication to deep emotional expression, bringing the unique character and narrative of each individual piece to life on the keys.
